Private Events / Restaurant Buyouts
Thank you for considering Publick House to host your private event. We strive to make your event as special as possible and will accommodate menu requests to the best of our ability.
For non-private events, we can accommodate up to 20 guests in our fireplace lounge or at a dining room table.
As we do not have a private room, we require the following to close the entire restaurant for a private function:
LUNCH
Monday-Thursday 1130-230PM or 12-3PM - $2,000
Friday 1130-230PM or 12-3PM - $2,500
Saturday - Sunday 1130-230PM or 12-3PM - $5,000
DINNER
Sunday-Wednesday dinner (anytime after 4pm) - $8,500
Thursday dinner (anytime after 4pm) - $15,000
Friday-Saturday dinner (anytime after 4pm) $20,000
Based on the associated price and style of event you are hosting, we will customize a party package around your needs. This could vary from an elegant cocktail party to a formal three-course dinner.
Price do not include tax and gratuity. A $250 nonrefundable deposit is required to secure a date. 20% gratuity and NJ sales tax are added to all event checks. Final payment must be paid at the conclusion of the event in full by credit, debit, cash or check. A 3.5% card processing fee is charged to all card transactions and is avoided with cash payment. Checks cannot be split more than three ways.
All tables are rectangle and the maximum seating is 60 guests (sat as six tables of 10). We can accommodate up to 75 as standing room only.
Publick House will provide votive candles and printed menus. You will be permitted into the restaurant one hour prior to the event to decorate. You are encouraged to bring your own decorations to make the space your own. We politely ask that you do not bring confetti or glitter and please refrain from taping or tacking the walls. We can accommodate any music requests through our Spotify account.
We encourage you to bring your own dessert and there is no cake cutting or plating fee.
All food selections must be chosen at least 2 weeks prior to the event and we ask for a finalized guest count 1 week prior.
Private events are held for three hours. We can negotiate rates for extended time.
Adults who plan on consuming alcohol must be 21 years of age or older and have a government issued photo ID. The safety of our guests, our staff, and our restaurant are of utmost importance. We do not condone binge drinking and all guests will be served one drink at a time, shots are not permitted. Any manager or staff member on duty can and will cut off a member or members of your party if we are concerned about their or our own safety.
